Dr. Beller serves as the Vice President of Mental Health Services at Horowitz Health, where he provides strategic oversight and clinical direction for the organization’s Intensive Residential Treatment Services facilities and Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. In this role, he ensures the consistent delivery of evidence-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed care across all service lines, maintaining the highest standards of clinical quality and operational excellence.
Before assuming his current position, Dr. Beller served as the Director of Clinical Innovation and Training, where he led transformative initiatives that advanced the organization’s clinical practices. He developed and implemented innovative treatment protocols and robust training programs designed to enhance staff competencies in both mental health and substance use disorder services. His efforts played a foundational role in establishing a culture of continuous learning and measurable improvement at Horowitz Health. Dr. Beller earned his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University and his doctorate in clinical psychology from Adler University.
He completed an advanced psychotherapeutic externship at the Addictive, Compulsive, and Impulsive Disorders Clinic at the University of Chicago, followed by a doctoral internship at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, where he received specialized training in integrated behavioral health and addiction medicine. With deep expertise at the intersection of clinical education, healthcare innovation, and strategic leadership, Dr. Beller brings a unique perspective to his role. He is passionate about integrating cutting-edge research into practice, fostering interprofessional collaboration, and building sustainable systems that support long-term recovery and resilience.
