Nicole serves as the Manager of Central Admissions and Referrals at Horowitz Health, bringing over 20 years of experience in behavioral healthcare operations, client services, and care coordination. In this critical role, Nicole oversees the organization’s centralized intake process, ensuring that clients across Horowitz Health’s continuum of mental health and substance use disorder services are matched efficiently and appropriately to the care they need.
Nicole is known for her exceptional ability to balance clinical insight with operational precision. She leads a multidisciplinary admissions team that works closely with external referents, internal program staff, and funding sources to streamline referrals, verify eligibility, and ensure timely placement. Her leadership is grounded in a deep understanding of the behavioral health landscape, particularly as it pertains to access to care, service navigation, and client-centered intake practices. Prior to her current role, Nicole held positions in compliance, quality assurance, and program management, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and clinical systems that support effective behavioral healthcare delivery. Her extensive background in mental health and substance use treatment settings allows her to identify barriers to care and implement solutions that enhance access, equity, and service continuity.
