Andrea serves as the Director of Revenue Cycle Management at Horowitz Health, where she leads strategic initiatives to optimize billing, coding, and reimbursement processes across the organization’s expanding network of mental health facilities.
With a sharp focus on revenue integrity, compliance, and system efficiency, Andrea ensures that all financial practices are grounded in regulatory alignment and clinical accuracy. In her role, Andrea oversees the full spectrum of revenue cycle operations—from charge capture and coding validation to claims processing and payment reconciliation. She works closely with clinical and administrative teams to implement systems that improve documentation practices, enhance reimbursement outcomes, and reduce denials. Her leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the financial sustainability of Horowitz Health while supporting its mission to expand access to high-quality behavioral healthcare. Andrea brings a wealth of experience from prior leadership roles in healthcare coding and education.
Before joining Horowitz Health, she served as the Lead Coding Educator at Bluestone Physician Services, where she spearheaded provider training and led initiatives to streamline coding workflows and maximize revenue. She also held the role of Coding Educator and Analyst at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, where she ensured consistency between clinical documentation and payer requirements, directly improving billing accuracy and compliance outcomes. Andrea holds an associate’s degree from Rasmussen University and is credentialed as a Registered Health Information Technician.
She combines technical expertise with a collaborative leadership style, bridging the gap between clinical operations and financial systems to drive measurable, sustainable results.
