Dr. Beller is a trained clinical psychologist and substance use counselor, completing his doctorate in clinical psychology from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. He currently serves as Director of Clinical Innovation and Training at Horowitz Health (HH). In this pivotal role, Dr. Beller is responsible for spearheading cutting-edge clinical practices and fostering comprehensive training programs. With a profound background in healthcare innovation, clinical education, and strategic leadership, he is a driving force behind the organization’s mission to deliver exceptional patient care and consistently enhance treatment outcomes.

Dr. Beller has a wealth of experience in various clinical settings, having worked at renowned institutions such as the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation (HBFF), the Addictive, Compulsive, and Impulsive Disorders Clinic at the University of Chicago (UC), Linden Oaks Behavioral Health, and Hartgrove Hospital. His expertise in substance abuse counseling, psychotherapy, and psychological assessment has been honed through years of dedicated practice.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Beller is a dedicated researcher, actively contributing to the field of psychology. His recent work involves exploring the potential benefits of mystical experiences induced by classic serotonergic-acting psychedelics and evaluating the therapeutic potential of Ayahuasca in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
